Q&A

Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I book a session? First, get in touch and let me know a little bit about the services you’re looking for. I’m happy to answer any questions and provide you with as much information as you need. Once we select a date and location that works for both us, I’ll send you a booking proposal and contract to go over. To secure your session, a 50% non-refundable deposit is due at booking. The session balance is due 7 days before your session.

How far in advance should I book my session? Dates fill up quickly, so it is best to book your portrait session at least one month in advance. For weddings, you should plan to book 2 months to a year in advance. I’m happy to consider last minute sessions, so please don’t hesitate to contact me to discuss.

How many images will I get from my session? It depends on the length of your session, but a typical portrait session includes 30-40 high resolution digital images.

Do you offer prints? Yes! I offer high quality prints from a professional lab at very reasonable prices. Please get in touch for more information.

What is a personal use print release? This release is included with the fully processed high resolution digital images from your session and allows you to print as many of the images as you would like for your own personal use. You may not sell the prints or images, submit them for publication or enter them into a contest.

Can I share the images from my session on social media? Please do! You are free to share your images on social media and if you’re pleased with your session, consider tagging Emily MacCabe Photography!

Do you travelI love to! Travel is included for most portrait sessions and travel within Maine is included in wedding packages. I’m happy to travel to meet your needs, but an additional fee may be required. Please get in touch to discuss further.
